Attendance

Policy

You are able to miss up to 24 hours of class time.

Attendance will be taken at the beginning of each session by one of the instructors. If you are late, you will be marked as such.

The reason for this policy is two-fold:

  1. We are training you to be professional developers, able to work in professional settings where you will be expected to show up to meetings on time and be prepared. A lax attendance policy would do you a disservice by not preparing you for a professional work environment.
  2. We have a lot of material to cover and a limited amount of time to cover it in. In addition, students are paying a large sum of money to be here. Out or respect to the commitment you and your peers have made to this, we expect you to be ready and prepared on-time.
